Christine Barford

School Improvement Leader

Christine builds the capacity of school leaders and lead school improvement initiatives at TenSquare partner schools. She spent over 10 years as a teacher and school leader for KIPP Public Charter Schools in rural North Carolina. She then founded KIPP Academy Boston’s first middle school and served as Principal. Christine worked across K-12 with KIPP Massachusetts’ five schools as Director of Teaching and Learning, supporting school leaders on curriculum, coaching, use of data and leadership development. Christine holds a bachelor’s degree from Gettysburg College and a Master or Arts in Education Administration and Supervision from National Louis University.
